Mrs.Davis Is this show slightly blasphemous? Yes. Does it keep you on your toes? Also, yes. Is the acting magnificent? 100%. I am usually not one for the thrill of the chase, my nervous system tends to like workplace comedies and sexy historical love stories best. However, this was a wild ride that I became obsessed with. The writing is wonderfully clever- particularly how it ties all these disparate pieces together. There are only six episodes, so it makes for an easy binge.
The Lost Kitchen Women supporting women making things and building community. What more could a gal ask for? This show inspired me so much- it is possible to create something meaningful and do it in a way that sustains people’s livelihoods.

NPR: TedRadioHour- Feeling Good in Our Bodies ( Part 2) I’m convinced this the key. This is it- being in our bodies rather than strictly relying on our minds. Let’s make the body a comfortable space to be.
Living Myth: What We Love Is The Cure A mythic approach to how love plays out as a necessity in human life. I am drawn to the academic nature of this that is reflected in the lived experience of being a human.
The National, The First Two Pages of Frankenstein The guest artist list on this album is superb. The gentle yet all too familiar melancholy seeps into every sad dad lyric. There is a lot of list-making throughout this album and I’m here for the inventory of who The National once was. There is the loom of writers block, depression, and the very human need to connect nestled into the background of each track. Its an album or a one-off, depending on your own mood. Regardless, its the perfect compliment to your experience when you decide to feel your feelings.
