Watch to nurture…….

  • My Lady Jane  This show was everything that I wanted season 3 Bridgerton to be; sexy, fun, whimsical, and romantic. A twist on a historical figure, taken from the novel of the same name, this show explores what would have happened if Jane Gray wasn’t killed after 9 days of being the monarch, in a world with magical human hybrids. The enemies to lovers trope was top tier. It was an easy watch. ANND it was obvious that these female characters were written by women for women and isn’t that a beautiful thing?

  • The Decameron This is a stupid smart show; spoofy and dark, centered around the bubonic plague. It has a cast of comedic stars and things get ridiculous and raunchy. I don’t like my tv series to be taken too seriously, and this fits the bill.

Follow to grow…….

  • @guanjingmethod movement rooted in feeling gooooooood. Part Yoga, Qi Gong, and Dance- a fusion you never knew you needed.

  • @houseofwindpod This is an ACOTAR podcast, turned instagram account. Fan theories, analysis of chapters, predictions- you name it!

 Read to root…….

  • Smile by Ally Hamilton  I took an incredible yoga workshop with Ally Hamilton in 2011 and have been following her life ever since. (Hint:It was still one of the best yoga workshops I’ve ever taken. )This piece is from her weekly email and every word spoke to my own experience of being a woman. At this time when women are purposely being divided culturally and political; I found this piece to be medicinal in its rawness.

  • How America's Fastest Swimmers Use Math to Win Gold by Jordana Cepelewicz I’ve never been one for numbers, however, I am always fascinated and in awe of Olympians. This article walks through the math behind successful swimming, using body and pool metrics to determine outcomes

  • A Court of Thorns and Roses Series by Sarah J Maas. Yes, I become an ACOTAR girl. Thanks Booktok.  However, it was a slow burn. The first book took me FOREVER to get through. But  once I made my way to the second book, things picked up rather quickly becoming an all consuming thing. I think I even had a book hangover- longing for the characters and scenarios after I finished them. Am I a fantasy girlie now???? Guess so. I loved the world building. I loved the characters, particularly the flawed ones struggling with their own sense of selves- because duhhh, relatable.  And the spice wasn’t so bad either. My favorites were A Court of Mist and Fury and A Court of Silver Flames.

  • Exalted by Anna Dorn This juicy slice of fiction is a tale of two anti-heroines. One- an instragram astrologer who makes up her content and pines for a mysterious/ quintessentially LA man in her DMs, the other is a devotee of this instragram account,  recently devastated and lost after a long-term relationship ends. This book is so LA. It feels like Lana Del Rey had a hand in its making. It dissects the culture of online worshiping, while simultaneously, dealing with the effects of real-world relationships. Great beach read.

  • Dieting Keeps Us Sedated by Chrissy King  I can’t open my instagram without some piece of content around Ozempic popping up. Thinness is back- in fact, it never really left. Chrissy is able to articulate this phenomenon in a way that my own words have failed me; it is no coincidence that obsessive body behavior and curbing women’s rights are heightened right now.

Listen to expand……

  • How to Playwright by Lauren Gunderson. This podcast is amazing! Lauren Gundersom is amazing! She writes plays! Amazing! Truthfully, this is a podcast about craft. It is about the process, execution, and iterations needed to put forth work in the world.

  • Aliza Kelly's Astrological Buffet A goldmine of a find, if I do say so myself. Aliza Kelly is an internet astrology guru, she has a coven you can join and a pretty hefty following of loyals via her Patreon. She also made a playlist with every astro podcast you could ever dream of. Take a minute and check out- the episode names will help you find what you are looking for.

  • Into The Work: Therapy for Empaths and Seekers: Michelle Poverman is my former therapist in Massachusetts and this woman changed my life. In fact, I haven’t been able to find a therapist I love nearly as much as her since moving from Mass in 2020. This particular episode is about making things happen, magically.

Support if you can….

Aisle: Period panties! Period Products! Hooray! This small company is a long time favorite of mine. Recently, they disclosed how difficult production costs have been and are afraid of shutting down. Let’s help ‘em out?
