Watch to nurture…….
Fantastic Fungi Many of you have already watched this delightful documentary. I recently rewatched and honestly, it’s breathtaking. I’m in awe of the wisdom of nature. There is so much intelligence in the world around us beyond. This film is such a beautiful reminder of the sheer magnitude that we have to learn from the natural world. My hope is that we get quiet enough to listen.
Shamanic Shaking with Sahara Rose The world feels heavy right now. Maybe it's just me? In order to move through the stress cycle instead of just sitting in it, it’s important to physically move your body. Shamanic shaking is one totally freeing way to do such a thing.
Hilda This whimsical series is about a precocious girl in a fictional Scandinavian country where elves and adventure are abundant. She always winds up in trouble while simultaneously helping her neighbors. It’s easy to watch and a wonderful escape from the looming apocalypse around us.
Tiny Desk Concert: Olivia Rodrigo Trust me on this one. Sour is an epic, majestic creation that changed our lives in 2021. Now, imagine that genius album as an acoustic version with a badass female rock band in furry sweaters at the DMV. Yup. It’s a modern Lillith fair. Olivia’s voice soars. The slower pace proves to be as resonant as ever. The sound quality is everything. Do yourself the favor and play this in the background of your workday.
How Burnout Makes you Less Creative I needed to hear this, perhaps you do too?

ARTICLE: What If We Just Stopped Being So Available? By Joe Pinkser I think about this premise often. How do we combat capitalism while still required to partake in it- what if we made ourselves available less? Food For Thought.
BOOK Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell An imaginative and whimsical fiction about Shakespeare’s youngest son who dies of the plague. It is beautifully descriptive and haunting in the best way. It's one of the first pieces of fiction I read through after the new year.
BOOK Circe by Madeline Miller A feminist retelling of a classical Greek myth- yes, please! It’s been out for some time, but a recent reread ignited a fire within me. How many stories have not been told simply because they didn’t fit the conventional narrative?
BOOK 23 Things They Don't Tell You About Capitalism by Ha-Joon Chang Chang is a professor of economics at Cambridge University, who somehow makes understanding our current economic (failing) accessible. If you are like me and looking for more communal ways to engage with the economy, it’s important to start with the basics. While we live within this system, understanding the framework of capitalism is more important than one would think. It isn’t just a given. How can one break free or engage in the system without knowing the rules?

Las Culturistas with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang Hello, witty cultural commentary and repartee. My goodness is this a fun and incredibly enlightening podcast. I love a pop culture moment. I love intellectual discussions about pop culture. This podcast is all of those things.
Eivor I’ve been taking part in a temple practice as a part of my spiritual maintenance. Eivor was playing the first time we held space together and her voice is magic and haunting and old and new at the same time. I feel like I’ve been transported to the shores of Avalon while listening. She’s a Scandinavian artist who sings in a variety of languages; but, ultimately, she speaks the language of the divine.
We Can Do Hard Things: With Brene Brown 1 I’ve probably sent this podcast to you separately. This episode followed by the next one is sheer magic. Drink it all up. Take Notes. Rewind as much as possible- you will want to.

Many Moons Planner- I use this planner to keep track of my life. I like old-school pen and paper as that helps me remember all of the things I have to do. This old school situation happens to be chock full of astrology, rituals, and life tidbits that are nothing short of wonderful.
ASPCADogs are too good for us. Enough said.
